A studio of makers, led by its founder.
Think New Creative Solutions is a software and AI company. We teach teams to use AI, build private models, and develop products, with founder Adam Coburn involved in every engagement.
Our story
From building websites to building AI
Think New began as a web development studio. For years we built websites, web apps and platforms for clients, and products of our own alongside them.
As AI tools matured, we rebuilt our own process around them. Research, prototypes, code, tests and documentation all now involve AI, with experienced developers reviewing the result. That change let a small team ship work that once took a much larger one.
Then we went further and started building AI itself. Our lab trains language models from scratch, and that experience shapes the private models we now build for clients who cannot send their data to a public service.
Founder & Principal
Adam Coburn
Adam is a software developer and AI builder. He has spent decades building software, and today he builds AI.
His work runs from websites and SaaS platforms to mobile games, desktop apps and connected hardware like remote-play claw machines and camera-equipped bird feeders. He founded Think New to build that kind of work for clients, and he still scopes, leads and supports every engagement himself.
Through CoburnicusLabs, Adam is growing AdamAI, an open language model trained from an empty file, and documenting each step in the Growing a Brain series. The goal is a model people can run at home and look inside.
Research updates on AdamAI are published at CoburnicusLabs. Adam also writes about AI and software on his blog, coburnicusmind.com.

Code, models, weights, accounts and data sit in your name from the start. No lock-in.
Privacy by default
We design for the least data exposure that does the job, and we will tell you when a private model is the safer choice.
Plain answers
If AI is the wrong tool for a problem, we say so. Estimates come in writing before work starts.

Think New funds CoburnicusLabs, an R&D lab that builds AI from the ground up. Its projects are AdamAI, an open model grown from scratch in public, and RobotoCAD, a browser studio for designing buildable robots. What the lab learns feeds directly into the private models we build for clients.
